Christopher Colombos

Christopher Colombos  was born before 31 October 1451 in Genoa. He was an Italian navigator, explorer,  colonizer .  He had experienced with four voyages  across the Atlantic ocean. His first voyage was in 1492.  He visited Caribbean coast of Venezuela, Central America. He was not first voyager to Americas and his voyages was first lasting European contact to Americas. He led to  a period of European exploration , colonization and conquest and for several centuries , it was lasted.  For the development of the Western world , these voyages had an enormous impact  in historically. Transatlantic slave trades and genocides were removed by him.
Early life- In Italian , his name was cristoforo Colombo. His father name was Domenico Colombo. He was a middle class wool weaver in Genoa.  Susanna fontanaarose  was his mother,s name. Christopher helped his father at his young age
At his age of 10 , he went to sea.. His family moved to Savona . He supported to conquire  the kingdom of Naples. Colombos  opened a business in 1473. Colombos  learned  Portuguese ,  Latin , Castiastronomy. He acquired more knowledge about history, geography, astronomy
Illness and death- From his first return voyage, affected  with verious types of fevers ,  influenza, gout, plagued and other types of fever , prolonged attacks of gout , bleeding from the eyes. He died on 20 May, in1504 and age of 54 in Valladolid , Spain.
